Emma and Mike – Iscoyd Park
Iscoyd Park Wedding Photography
We’re still not really sure whether Iscoyd Park is in Wales or England – It’s in the badlands between the two, but we did drive over an “Araf” on the road somewhere near, so we are going to mark it down as a Welsh wedding.
The day started with us photographing Emma and her Bridesmaids at Iscoyd Park, then crossing the border back into England to the old market town of Malpas in Shropshire, where Emma and Mike live.
We met up with Mike and his groomsmen at their home then walked with them to St. Oswalds church in Malpas for the wedding service.
Emma arrived in a vintage Daimler (supplied by Silverline Cars), and was given away by her brother. After the ceremony we did a few photos using the beautiful old church as a backdrop, then it was off to Iscoyd Park for the wedding reception.
We were blown away by Iscoyd Park as a wedding venue. Granted, we were lucky to be there on a beautiful warm summer day, with the lavender and gardens in full bloom. But the house is beautiful inside as well, and would be a fabulous wedding venue at any time of year.
Mike and Emma’s house is about two hundred yards from the church in Malpas, so we went there first to meet the guys and walk up with them.
