Emma and Paul – Mere Court Hotel, Cheshire
Mere Court Hotel Wedding Photography
This was our first wedding at the Mere Court Hotel, (although we have photographed several at the Mere Country Club just down the road) and what a splendid wedding venue it is! Lois and I were especially lucky to have been there when the cherry blossom trees were in full bloom, although to be honest, we could have done without the showers!
Emma and her bridesmaids got ready at her mum and dad’s house, before going to St. Micheal and All Angels Church in Bramhall for the wedding ceremony.
We loved the individually crafted button holes – each different according to the wearer’s role in the wedding day.
Here is Emma looking drop-dead gorgeous. What is there to say? Stunning.
There was just enough time for a few pictures in Emma’s parents back garden. Well, there wasn’t actually, but we did them anyway, even though it meant arriving at the church a few minutes late.
It’s the button hole game again! No guys, flat on top, NOT through the hole!
It occured to me after taking this shot that it might be more amusing viewed from behind – next time.
Here is groom Paul with his best man Iain.
What goes through a father’s head when he passes his daughter’s hand across? I would like to know.
Emma genuinely did wear that smile all day long.
Our trademark confetti shot. This is not left to chance.
A very nice blue theme running through the details at the reception. The bright conservatory looked great.
A jubilant entry! Thanks for the photo opportunity guys!
Dad had some nice things to say . .
Paul dished out “Head Teacher’s Awards”.
Just in time for a quick photo or two after the meal, then pretty much streight into the first dance.
All photos in this post taken by Lois and Dave!
