Faye and Danny – Mere Court Hotel, Cheshire
Mere Court Wedding Photographer
Faye and Danny’s wedding was our third visit to Mere Court this year, and I’m sorry to say the last of our present bookings at this venue that has quickly become a favourite of ours. Hopefully, we’ll pick up some more bookings here soon!
In common with the other two, we managed to get some slightly dodgey weather, but this didn’t stop Faye and Danny from having a terrific time, and it didn’t stop us from getting some great wedding photographs with them.
The bridal prep shots were taken in one of the hotel bedrooms at Mere Court.
A helping hand from Mum with Faye’s veil.
If Danny was feeling nervous, he wasn’t going to let it show. Here he is with his best man and brother.
An excited look round the door just before Faye and her Dad take the walk down the aisle.
This is the moment when the registrar asks if anyone knows of any reason why these two people may not be joined in marriage. It’s not uncommon to get a wise crack from the audience, and we are ready for it!
A tender moment captured by Mrs G at the back of the room.
Job done. Happy!
Not seen this before, but it’s a great idea to let guests know the timings of the day, including when they are expected to be available for photos.
Celebrations and hugs all round.
So, who needs a wedding photographer anyway!!
I love this bridal portrait of Faye with the wind just catching her veil. She looks so gorgeous.
Faye and Danny had gathered together dozens of small jars and bottles for their table centre pieces. The subtle and pastel colour scheme gave the room a light feel.
Dinner time. Followed by funny, and emotional speeches, including a specially commissioned poem from Danny’s Dad.
After dinner there was time for a few more fun photos outside.
First dance, then the swing singer kicked off the evening party in style.
