Hannah and Kevin – Adlington Hall, Macclesfield, Cheshire
Hannah and Kevin chose Adlington Hall near Macclesfield in Cheshire for their wedding ceremony on 27th July, and what a great choice it was. The Great Hall at Adlington was built at the end of the fifteenth century, and is a fabulous example of Tudor architecture. And what’s more, the sun shone and the rain stayed away – our first dry wedding after a run of nine wet and windy ones, and great to be outside in the sunshine for a little light wedding photography!

We started with bridal preparation at Hannah’s mum’s house – so here are Sally, Hannah, mum Hilary and Rebecca before transformation!
Adlington Hall, not far from Macclesfield, in Cheshire
The boys were already at Adlington Hall – Jon, Kevin and Matt enjoying the surprising sunshine, and Kevin with dad Ian below.
The sun seemed to bring out a playful streak in some guests!
The ‘Hunting Lodge’ at Adlington Hall in the background – also a great venue for weddings such as Helen and Austin’s that we photographed back in June.
Hannah with dad Harry – deciding whether or not to go in?
Thank goodness – not a moment to soon for Kevin, friends and family.
As usual, one of the rings gets stuck, but not for long.
And then out into the fabulous sunshine for a drink and a wander around the grounds. That’s the guests of course, we had far too much work to do!
Porquoi? Not quite sure why there is a statue of Napoleon at Adlington Hall, but we love its setting.
Time for a wander around the fabulous gardens with the new Mr and Mrs Butler.
So many fabulous places at Adlington Hall for wedding photography!
My favourite – definitely!
And after all that walking around a chance to sit and enjoy a glass of bubbly courtesy of Signature Wedding Cars, before setting off to the Palace Hotel in Buxton for the rest of the celebrations. Hope you had a great time Hannah and Kevin!
