Marianne and Greg’s wedding at Nunsmere Hall
Our second Nunsmere Hall wedding, and I have to say I really, really like this venue and look forward to photographing more weddings here in the future. Both the house and the gardens are pretty, and unlike a lot of venues that use a marquee for the reception, at Nunsmere Hall you can still use the house in the evening after the meal is over.

First though, we started the day at Marianne’s family house to photograph the bridal prep, then went to St Bede’s RC Church in the parish of St John Vianney for the wedding ceremony.
Marianne is a professional musician, and Greg a journalist who writes a football blog, so the Music at this wedding was handpicked by Marianne and Greg, special to the occasion, and enjoyed by all. Including the photographers! At the church, the ceremony was accompanied by a choir and moving solo performances from Marianne’s friends. The music theme continued on throughout the day, right through to the reception tables named after their favourite bands (I’ve included my favourites in the images below!).
One of the best things about summer weddings is there’s still time for more outdoor photographs after dinner, and Marianne and Greg were happy to make the most of the locations offered by the venue.
