Samantha and Mark – Oakley Hall, Shropshire
Samantha and Mark were married at Oakley Hall in Shropshire. Turned out we were in for a treat and some great wedding photography opportunities. Unusually for us, the day started with “Groom prep.” at Mark’s mum’s house in Market Drayton.

Mark and mum and his six groomsmen looking very sharp in their tailored navy blue three piece suits.
A final tweak for Dad’s tie before setting off.
This is the guys outside the front of Oakley Hall looking up to sneak a peek at what’s happening inside, and the girls inside sneaking a peek at what’s happening outside.
The big guy on the right scares me.
Time for the long walk. Actually not very long in this case, just down the stairs in fact.
These Shropshire Registrars were great and didn’t mind us photographing the live signing of the register – from a respectful distance of course.
On cue, the rain had stopped so drinks were served in the Garden. Smashing!
For the utimate confetti wedding photo ask us to bring the confetti. This one is a mix called “Highland Fling” and one of our favourites. It’s actually a mix of delphinium petals and is totally biodegradable. It makes a great display and photo and 24 hours later you won’t see it.
After all the excitement of the group photo and the confetti, it’s time for some guests to come inside for a warm by the fire.
Meanwhile, we take Samantha and Mark for a little chill out time and a short bride and groom wedding photography session.
Oakley Hall wedding photography is made easy in the lush gardens. Love the colour in the rhodies.
The gentleman holding the canapes is our good friend Richard Kemp of Kemp and Kemp Catering. Its great to see these guys on the job. They work tirelessly and make the whole event run seamlessly.
We liked the album cover theme on the table – especially Thin Lizzy’s “Live and Dangerous” on the B&G’s table. Possibly the best live rock album ever I would say.
Pea and mint milk shakes for the toast. Makes a change from champagne I suppose.
