Winter in the Conwy Valley
When you wake up in the morning and it’s stopped snowing, there’s wall to wall blue sky and its FREEZING, there’s really only one thing to do, that’s go out and grab some photos in the neighbourhood before all the snow starts to melt. On this occasion there was perhaps a two hour window of opportunity in the Conwy Valley to photograph the snow while it was still on the branches of the trees, and before it was all gone – maybe for another year, who knows?

We are lucky to live close to Bodnant Gardens, so this was our first port of call. Parts of the gardens were closed which was a pity, so after wandering around as much as we could, we left and took the car up to the bridge at Tal-y-Cafn. By the time we left, the sun was up and the snow was already starting to melt off the branches of the trees.
