Back when we had our camper van, Di and I would occassionally take ot for overnight stays “locally” in within the Eryri National Park. Arthog is on the south side of the Afon Mawddach, not too far from the Barmouth Bridge.

Paysanne Restaurant in Deganwy, North Wales, has a new book out to celebrate thirty years of being open for business. We are very pleased our photographs are used to show off the fabulous dishes featured in the book.

When you wake up in the morning and it’s stopped snowing, there’s wall to wall blue sky and its FREEZING, there’s really only one thing to do, that’s go out and grab some photos in the neighbourhood before all the snow starts to melt. On this occasion there was perhaps a two hour window of opportunity in the Conwy Valley to photograph the snow while it was still on the branches of the trees, and before it was all gone – maybe for another year, who knows?
